V7 Symbols

V7 comes with hundreds of standard symbols, arranged by type, for waypoint annotation:

When a coordinate includes a symbol, the symbol is shown centered over the coordinate at the designed symbol size:

You can specify the symbol size on the Symbol tab, using the width (X) setting:

so the symbol is 'same sized' for the screen and printer:

You can even attach a picture to the map for use as an inset:

Images can be inserted using two styles:

Icon - Lower-left corner color is used as transparent color:

Picture - Symbol fully occludes map:
